ILReport - Information on Advertising Opportunities

The ILR provides a comprehensive means to place your message before ILR members and current and prospective llama owners. We invite you to join with other llama enthusiasts and supporters and put your llamas, products and services before thousands of eager llama owners.

ILRe-port Classified Ads
The cost for a classified ad is $5 for the first 30 characters and $4 per 30 characters thereafter. Spaces do count as characters. We will include classified ads with the ILRe-port announcement and have a special page for the ads which will include web links, mail to addresses, or both. Any web site or email address inside a classified ad will be linked.

The prefered means of submitting a classified ad is through the on-line submission form (www.lamaregistry.com/Forms/ilre-port_ad.php) or email. We will also accept classified ads by fax or mail. Ad charges are computed using Microsoft Word statistics character counter. A discount of 10% can be obtained by reserving an ad in 3 consecutive issues. The ILR also offers a 10-for-12 special (17% discount) for those who choose to reserve an add for 12 consecutive months.

ILRe-port Rotating Banner Ads - $35 per ad per month
The rotating banner advertisements along the right side of the ILRe-port screen can be reserved for $35 for each ad per month. Each ad can include either a web site address link or a mail to address, but not both. Banner ads will change every 8 seconds. If you wish, you can purchase more than 1 banner ad per month. However, multiple banner ads will be distributed evenly throughout the month's ads, and cannot be grouped, to protect the opportunity for every advertiser to be visible. Please remember that the banner ads are independent of the article window and will not 'restart' when a document is changed. The ILR also reserves the right to include one, and not more than one, banner for ILR advertising.

New banner ads will normally be charged a $25 first time set up fee. This fee can be waived at the discretion of the ILR Manager of Information Services (MIS) upon early receipt of a JPG graphic file that is exactly 166 pixels wide by 500 pixels tall, and not more than 45kb in size. (File size corresponds to a 166x500 pixel image saved in Photoshop 5.0 at a quality 5 setting.)

The order of presentation of ads will be changed each month, although the average time of a reader on the ILRe-port will be ample to present your ad a number of times.

A discount of 10% can be obtained by reserving an ad in 3 consecutive issues. The ILR also offers a 10-for-12 special (17% discount) for those who choose to reserve an add for 12 consecutive months.

Hosting Ad Pages (PDF or HTML) - $25 p/page p/month
We understand that some of you do not have web sites or the knowledge to build web pages. Therefore the ILR will host pages for advertisements, either PDF or HTML format, for $25 p/page p/month. If you need assistance in building the advertising pages the ILR can provide layout for $25 p/page. This fee can be waived at the discretion of the ILR MIS upon early receipt of a prebuilt PDF or simple HTML page. Note - Acrobat PDF pages contain much more detail and are self-contained while HTML will download much faster. If you wish to insert web site links in your PDF pages a small fee may be added. Please contact the ILR Manager of Information Services (MIS) for any questions.

Email Campaign - $250 per email broadcast
There are times when you may wish to contact ILR members and llama owners directly in a cost-effective manner. The ILR can broadcast your message to over 3500 active llama enthusiasts. When the message arrives in the intended mailbox, it will look as if it was sent directly from you. The reply address can be any email address you specify. The message can include web and mailto links. This is a great way to advertise a specific product or a scheduled sale or show.

ILR Locator - $50 first category - $10 for each additional category per year
The ILR will continue to offer a list of farms, products and services by category throughout North America. For a reasonably low cost of $50 you can position your farm, product or service in any of 27 categories for an entire year. The listings can be accessed by state/province or for all of North America by following a link in the ILRe-port and on any ILR web site page.

ILR Web Site Event Calendar
The ILR offers a free service to all llama owners in the ILR Web Site Event Calendar. Visitors to the ILR web site can check a list of upcoming llama related events. All llama owners with active owner codes and all llama associations are invited to add events. We encourage you to use this service for private or association sales and shows.
