ILR BOARD MINUTES
February 28, 2008
- Call to order 6:35 PM EST – Board Members Mark Smith,
Kathi McKinney, Kristy Brown, Karen Baum & Registrar Jan Wassink
in attendance.
- Next meeting date: March 20, 2008 7PM EST
- Face to Face meeting – arrive in Kalispell on June 8 –
meet June 9-11, 2008
- Review of Financials and Balance sheet – Jan to review
building equity/depreciation with accountant and report at next
meeting.
- ShowManager – first live show will be the Grand Slam
in Oklahoma City. The board will offer reduced rates on shows
signed up before May 1st as an introductory offer – $50 for show
set up plus 50 cents per head for single shows or $1 per head
for multiple shows (doubles, quads, etc).
- RegistryManager – nearly completed. There have been
inquiries by the New Zealand Llama registry, the Yak registry
and the Ccara group for using the program for their
registrations when program is completed.
- Lamaribean II 2009 – finalized dates and discussed
schedules.
- Elections: Mary Jo Miller and David Armour as
candidates. Ballots to go out in March.
- Ongoing Petition: DNA still pending
- Screening application: The Board reviewed submitted
photos sent in for screening using the Photo Screening Score
Sheet. The animal passed this phase of screening but the
board did request a new photo of the external genitalia be
submitted (current photo is too far away).
- Falkland Adventure – the Board reviewed a letter
regarding a research trip to the Falklands. The Board forwarded
the info to Dar to put in the ILR-eport for members to review on
their own.
