ILR BOARD MINUTES

April 18, 2001

Meeting called to order at 12 noon EDT. Present: Karen Baum, Kathi McKinney, Jack Moore, Sally Rucker, Sally Taylor and Jan Wassink, Registrar.

1. Registrar's Report
   The registrar’s report was discussed. Karen requested that we continue to get the financial reports, which include year-to-date cash flow and year-to-date budget update. Registrar’s report was accepted as presented.
   
2. ILA Communication
   There has been no communication from the ILA as follow-up to our discussion with their representatives from ILA attending our face-to-face meeting in Salt Lake City, March 19, 2001. The Board of Directors feels that it is inappropriate for ILR to initiate any dialog since we were clear in our discussions that we would wait for ILA’s representatives to contact us.
   
3. Bar Coding for DNA Analysis
   ILR programmers are continuing to work on the bar-coding for DNA samples sent to the Veterinary Genetics Lab (UC Davis). Our deadline for this programming is close so we are hoping to have this information available by mid-May.
   
4. Registrar's Evaluation
   Jan has received written evaluation from the Board of Directors with comments. Jack will share with the BOD the results of the registrars evaluation at the face-to-face meeting in Kalispell in June.
   
5. Forged Signatures
   There was discussion about how the office will handle forged signatures on applications. This issue will be discussed more at the face-to-face meeting, in June.
