ILR BOARD MINUTES
June 6, 2001
12:00 EDT
Meeting called to order at 12 noon EDT. Present: Karen Baum, Kathi McKinney,
Jack Moore, Sally Rucker, Sally Taylor and Jan Wassink, Registrar.
Next meeting will be the annual face-to-face meeting in Kalispell, Mt
beginning June 28, 2001. The annual membership meeting will be held on Saturday,
June 30 at Cavanaugh’s Motor Inn in Kalispell.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved according to our approval process,
sent to all newsletters and posted to the ILR Website.
- Member Forgery
There was discussion regarding a member forging a signature on an ILR
application. Jan will forward a copy of a letter he suggests we send to the
offending member.
- Report of the ILR/ILA Conference Call
Jack led the discussion regarding the report of the ILR/ILA Committee
Conference call meeting June 5, 2001. ILR was represented by Jack, Karen and
Sally Rucker on the teleconference call and met with the ILA representatives
Terry Duespohl, Norma Stevens and Glen Pfefferkorn.
- ILR Financial Reports
Jan reviewed the financial reports for the BOD.
- National Pedigree Livestock Council Report
Jan and Jack gave a report on their attendance at the National Pedigree
Livestock Council meeting in May. They enthusiastically shared their opinion
that each year a different member of the ILR BOD should attend.
- ILReport Topics
Jan will prepare a list of article assignments for the ILReport for each
board member.
