The ILF Board of Directors annual meeting was called to order at 1:45 PM , EDT, by President, Art K ennel .  Present: K aren Baum , Art K ennel , K athi Mc K inney, Sally Taylor and Jan Wassink, Registrar. Lars and Gail Garrison were in attendance.

Lars explained the proposal he and Hilary Ware have made to create a memorial fund to honor Jack Moore. The proposal would be to retain 25% of the donations to be reserved for emergency situation with the balance of the fund available to support appropriate research projects. Don na Moore is very enthusiastic about this project.

Art has prepared a press release and will ask Don na to approve the press release before it goes to the newsletters.

K athi suggested that the ILF design a logo and prepare cards for thank you cards for donations received.

The bank balance as of May 28, 2004 is $6084.93.
