Dear Llama Owners,

Now that the holidays are over, it is time to send in your 2006 ILR membership if you have not already done so. If you have not already thrown away the mailing we sent to you last November, you may find it helpful to review that information. ILR members can take advantage of several opportunities to advertise through the ILR (ILR-eport, ILR web locator and the I Want a Llama booklet), as well as access many searches on the ILR database.

The annual election for the Board of Directors is fast approaching and you will need to be a 2006 member in order to run for the board or to vote in the election. You can join online, email, phone or by US Mail. Contact us soon.

We are still looking for a few motivated individuals to round out some of our “focus” groups. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in promoting your favorite aspect of the llama world. So, if you are not content with the current state of the llama world and are willing to work toward making changes, give me a call and we can discuss where you can have the greatest impact.

Finally, we are continuing to modify the website to make it more useful and more intuitive to navigate. If you have suggestions that you feel would improve the site, please email them to us at ilr@lamaregistry.com. We appreciate all the suggestions we receive.
